Some progress gifs of a walk cycle I did today. I'm very satisfied with this, as I felt I was in a massive rut with animation the past few months. But I think I know the problem - I was so dedicated to redrawing every bit of the character that changed between frames, and it ended up looking very over-animated and weird. It just goes to show that sometimes simply deforming the bit you want can look much nicer than just redrawing the whole thing.

I did get a bit lazy on the tail though. You can see in frames it grows and shrinks. I will hopefully fix that up tomorrow, as well as maybe colour it.
