IOL PROJECT INTENTION
"Generating Calm"
As an extension of the themes explored in my Studio 2 project I'd like to create a set of mini animations that act as small movement studies looking into quiet and calm movements - perhaps more abstract than narrative based. Movements that give a sense of stillness, that generate relaxation. Movements such as rustling, repetition, lulling, hypnotic swinging etc that are embedded in daily routine. I also want the visuals to reflect the minimal movement - minimal linework, shape based, muted palette.
