My quick and initial experiment made me realize that I need a lot of refinement in terms of creating a run and jump cycle. This was to be expected as I refine my process. I am, however, happy by how this turned out despite being a rough test.  I was also more compelled in the creation of the movement’s abstraction as the humanoid character jumps. The camera or audience being too close to the top angle of the Styrofoam platform he’s on gives away the illusion of supposedly a little glowing white person is standing on it. In future iterations, I might try to play and try out varying dimensions and perspective configurations of the objects, light, and the camera, as well as see if I can ideate on traversal ideas on found spaces. Doing this exercise made me excited to pursue more experiments and iterations of my project.
