Our theme this week was tinkering, I wanted to try to use a plugin in Maya called MASH, but had a hard time learning it, I made a cog and thought I could create the inside of a clocktower, but I didnt really have anytime, so I tried play with the animation settings in MASH I created an audio node which would effect the cogs translate, rotation and scale. I used Lysander Witkins musical pieces who is a fellow classmate also taking CPS this semester, Lysander made this cool atmos music during class that I thought I could use to tinker the animation, which created this creepy feel to the animation.
I didn't get much further with becasue of my lack of knowledge and feel that this wasnt the best use of my time for this weeks CPS, hopefully I can try something different in the coming weeks, honestly I feel Lysander untentionally did my work for me, so sorry about that, will try to do better next week.
