Theme: Tinkering
Content: Group of voxel blocks rendered under isometric cameras, inspired by Monument Valley ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monument_Valley_(video_game) ).
What you see is not the real structure. The pictures are rendered from different perspectives.
Methods:
Modeling in Magicavoxel, choose isometric camera mode.
Adding random blocks and check if they can be connected with other cubes or completely cover them in different perspectives.
Paint lines on blocks to connect then in all perspectives.
Disable the shadow and edge, make lines glow.
Response
Due to having no perspective, our eyes will be cheated easily under the isometric camera. So we can create some "Monument Valley" effects.
At this circumstance, fewer details can enhance these effects, so low-poly style and voxel are compatible with the isometric camera.
