OBSERVATION | CPS | week 1
Theory:
The concepts that revolve around my curiosity are of
the observer effect –it’s a quantum theory that suggests whenever you see an object it changes what it is, The observer changes the very being of object by observation.
perception - it's interesting to see how the rooster drawing style by Pabblo Picasso done in 1938 can be compared to deep dreamed images by AI.

A similar effect by Van doh in a painting done in 1800's is compared to deepdream style of today's ai.

Technology is expansion of human perception.
Beniger(1986 , cited by Jonathan Steuer, 1992 , pg 73), defines technolo- gy as “any intentional extension of a natural process, that is, processing of matter, energy, and information that characterizes all living systems”. Steuer further adds McLuhan(1964 , p.21) who defines a medium as an extension of man, reflecting how technology is just an extension to our human psyche. in McLuhan, M. (1964). Method
I will create a mind flow chart on the same and then while observing the sky ill try to pin down how how a sky might observe or more like percieve us. I will ask other people to draw how sky might see us, and compare perceptions and how same or different they are.
Outcome - Observing this thought process on the observer's effect and different perceptions, I drew a mindflow chart and how sky might percieve us and then asked several other people to draw how they think sky percieves us, though most of them are a bird's eye perspective, they have some sense of feel to it as well, which people relate.
