CPS-Week04-Discussion of Place

In response to this week’s Discussion of Place, I painted a scene of the city. By using software photoshop comparing a town before and after the war creating an idea of opposing the war.
People who live in peaceful areas might forget the horrors of war and do not care about the war-torn regions.
So I created this scene hoping that people will understand that war is not fun and will oppose it.
The Film the hunger Games inspired me. In the Hunger Games, the author uses many shooting techniques to compare the capital and District 12. For example, use smoke and low-contrast filters to show how dull and challenging life in District 12 can be.
When photographing the capital, the author uses cheerful music and bright filters to express the abundance of people's lives.
So in my work, I also try to create contrast through colors and filters.
