Method

I used the materials that I ve been using in my studio 2 project the acetates to try  and play with them and create a small interactive piece where I drew different walk cycles of a character, while looking in how to make a zoetrope and thinking, what happens if because of the timing of my actions will make the walking cycle go fast or slow depending on how fast or slow you move it  will influence the timing and spacing in the piece. I drew the walking cycle in the acetates and cut them in little squares thought of manual zoetrope, like flip book, so I thought what happens if I just release the does squares from my hand to a surface and dependgind how fast or slow I release them will be the timing and spacing of the piece.

Context

For this I used hombre Mcsteez method and saw Alan Becker animation  walk cycles to triy and make the piece.

Response

the idea didn't translate well because when I released the aceates it was difficult sometimes to control how many yo let go and sometimes 3 acetates fell at a time, one of the problems was because some of the acetates where different size making them difficult to hold,
