Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

In response to the theme of place, I made 2 projects actually, since during the progress of doing the first one, I was thinking about the relationship between it and this week's theme, so I decided to do another one, but I will show both of them here. Both of them are based on the concept of optical illusion.

By painting on the paper, I showed that how to present a optical illusion in real life, I built a relationship between place and optical illusion, which can change the way people look at the objects combined with the envrironment, or regard the evvironment as an object in order to interact with them, these can be found in some actual exhibitions or public art design and game design. Based on this, I finished the first one, I used ink to paint on the paper and put it in the narrow aisle of my room in order to create a corresponding world through reflection, I chose to make it be a 'capsule', but it looks a bit rudimentary.

similar work can be seen in the video on youtubee-'Regina Silveira - Abyssal - Viva Capoeira w Atlasie Sztuki', produced by the channel vivacapoeiraeu, which explores this theme by projecting the work on the ground to create an optical illusion.

And there is another video 'Optical Illusion Rooms By Peter Kogler Will Give You Vertigo', which explores how to use line in the environment to achieve an optical illusion.

Here is the link: https://youtu.be/SaNgr_2U03I

Both of them are public space art, which can enable audience to have an immersive experience through a strong visual illusion.

But I turn to do another one since I think it is not enough to explore this theme, so I made a 3d model in Blender, which conveys how optical illusion can be used in space, it acts as a role in combination with space, especially in game design,  players can get a complete graphic from a fixed perspective, while other perspectives are not achievable to see the complete version.

Similar work can be seen in the video on youtube-'Superliminal Analysis | Game Designer Plays', one of the section in this game desing is that players have to move to a fixed perspective to get the props.
