In response to the theme of Found Objects. I made a stop motion animation by using lots of spare parts for installing furniture and appliances in my toolbox.
By using these tools, which are basically useless, I gave them interesting and consistent with their own mechanical feature. At first, I wanted to build a micro-factory with screws and other things, but I didn't have enough materials. So I changed another plan to make a robot with limited parts. This process is very similar to tinkering. I added some metallic sound effects later in the video to enhance the mechanical feel of my work.
Similar work has been produced by Song Dong whose work ’Project 90‘ explores this theme by collecting any piece from the community in the 90s.
