CPS Week 3 Found Objects

In response to the theme of Found Objects, I made an origami composition that represents Lunar New Year using red envelopes and banknotes.

Originally I intended the composition to be an ox grazing on a field of banknotes but due to how complex it would be, I gave up halfway but I made myself a lantern which resulted in me creating a position of lanterns instead.

I was inspired by the practice of the reuse of red envelopes which have been used to create origami fishes and lantern balls as decoration. I wished to try to use such influences however I was not successful in doing so.
