CPS week 3

Theme: Found Object

Method:

I intend to use a roll of toilet paper left in my cupboard and combining it with a tap on a sink.

Using the roll as the base model and plan on using a water “material” to replace the tissue part since water comes out from the tap as an everyday necessity. I’ll be having the object in an AR space to project the roll with a water material flowing as a particle system.

Context:

Looking into Marcel Duchant and his Bicycle Wheel (1951), this piece is a combination of two objects that can be found everywhere and anywhere that also is a necessity for us humans to get from point A to point B where as the stool is something that would enables us to rest.

Marete Oppenheim is another artist I’m looking into as her most notable work Fur-covered cup, saucer and spoon (1936). She took a fur material and used its material to replace a ceramic teacup material which I would be doing the same.

Taking this into consideration, combining my two objects as not physical but combining their “material” as my answer to this week’s prompt.
