Firstly, I observed the things in the campus. As the great winds on that day, there were many falling leaves. Some leaves swayed with the water, others were blown up by the wind. I stared at the leaves for a long time and found that only one leaf was tightly attached to the ground, unaffected by the wind and water. As a result I decided to use the leaves to do something.
After brought this leaf back to the classroom, I tried to use the notebook to combine this leaf to make a stop motion animation, in the form of a leaf shuttle notebook. When I started this animation, I thought about how to present this leaf in different dimensions. Finally decided to use simple lines, as this will have a more obvious contrast with the real leaves.
Not only that, I think this week's theme is a challenge for me. As in the current fast pace of life, it is difficult for people to observe a thing for a long time, even if there is time, it is also lack of patience. If I can look at things closely around me in daily life, I might be able to see their essence through the surface of objects and present them in the future works. In this stop motion animation, I just made some simple transformations using the leaves and the notebook. I hope that next time I can make more in-depth animation with simple things.
