In response to the theme of observation, I made a pixel artwork that presents the bodily figure of a man with well-sculpted features based on one of the various anime figures I have, using pixel art software.

By twisting the figure, I was able to define the body and its features which include the abs and pecs that are presented in a dramatic matter. 

Similar techniques are present in the work of Baroque sculptor Gian Lorenzo Bernini namely his sculpture that of David, in which he highlights many bodily features in a dramatic matter as well as simulating motion by twisting the figure.
