Week7. Characters, Place and Events

The conversion of places and events must have an impact on the characters, so I think about the biggest impact on me from birth to now, that is, studying abroad. Because I have encountered new languages, new environments, new ways of communication and new ways of learning. Through this film I expressed my feeling of loneliness at the time. Even I feel that life should be spent in loneliness, no one will fully understand myself. In fact, none of us can fully understand ourselves.

Week 8. Time As Material

Time is a magical thing. In movies and animations, people often use unusual times to express special emotions. Through the exploration of this film, I want to reveal the wonders of time from a deeper dimension. In the film, an old couple and a young couple meet on the sidewalk. I try to use slow Motion to show the happiness of meeting people. In fact, in my opinion, life is the accumulation of time. In this moment I transform time into love, and I think companionship is the best way to show time.

Week 9. Forces

In this week's video, I still show meeting through the video. Because the most important constraint is to describe a thing from 1995-2000. This is exactly when I just had memories. The most reluctant thing in my mind is riding a three-wheeled bicycle. Through the interaction of my parents and me, I showed their hopes and helplessness for my growth.

Final work

In folio 2, my three assignments are all about encountering themes, so I want to make an interaction, which is the player who can feel the joy of meeting in my work. So, in each level I decided to let one character start another person's trip after meeting another character. They can go together to watch my weekly videos. I had an exchange with Chris after I had a general idea. He suggested that I make the animation of the cube into a scroll, which would be more interesting. I joined different levels to show my weekly assignments. Three different colors of the trigger are set to give the player a clearer idea of what to do. The color of each scene is different in order to convey an emotion to the player - from confusion to clarity. From the very beginning, it wasn't very much what I wanted to do, and it was a very happy thing to clearly define what I was going to do.
