I created a short stop motion animation for my Archival Object. The stop motion depicts the journey of someone getting out of bed and walking around their house. The video has a surreal nature as different actions trigger a variety of strange events.
Each work was redesigned to be cohesive with both the narrative as well as the aesthetic of the video. I represented each of the Weekly Themes throughout my work, allowing me to create something that I would not have thought to do without these weekly prompts.
Creating this work as well as my other weekly objects was such a pleasure and I can’t wait to experiment with a variety of other techniques and programs throughout the course.
