For the archival object I Initially used Spark AR, it worked pretty well with some of the weekly responses, but I gathered that it wouldn’t work aesthetically with some other works that I did during the weeks. So, I decided to use a polaroid camera (Lomo'Instant Automat camera) and take photos of each week’s work. I think the series of photographs better represents my work as a whole. Using polaroid had its own challenges, for example, taking a photo from a photo or taking a photo from a screen is quite difficult, in the process I tried multiple exposures and various exposure times to get the best results. I put up each week’s work up on the TV and took a photo of it, then labelled the photographs stuck the QR code to the back of each polaroid and put them in a little box like a stack of cards.

Polaroid is something that people feel nostalgic about so I thought making my archival object in this form can be something that my audience would engage with. The small size of the polaroid is another point that would make the audience want to look closer to figure out what it is that I’m trying to show. The photographs have similar aspects aesthetically so I guess they can sit nicely together as a series of work.
