APD Week 8 -Play and Audience

These photos use perspective effects through a frame, silhouette…… It makes the usual scenery to become interesting, and these items offer the possibility of various combinations, and only a slight change in the angle of view will give a different effect.

Method

I want to give the audience a framework that is easy to inspire creativity, and use their imagination to fill the content into the framework. Make a frame that reveals a large blank area and let the “audience” find the right filler.

Response

I think this will be a very good experience, which will help people find some beautiful scenery that we have neglected in our usual life. Looking at the world from a different angle, you may find that the world is not so boring, but full of surprises everywhere. The filling of the picture is not necessarily a ready-made landscape, but it can also be created according to the shape of the outline, and it can be another painting, fruit, nut, or book…… Everything is possible.

Reflection

I am not very satisfied with the final product, and there are still many problems. The first is the choice of materials. Before the production, it was not taken into account that after removing a large blank area, the paper would lose most of its supporting force, which means that the frame could not be completely and evenly displayed in the picture. Another problem is that there is no need for large blanks, which affects the overall picture effect. There are also multiple blanks in one of the frames, which makes filling the content difficult.

Although there are so many problems, I think this is still a good way to interact with the audience. It gives the audience an opportunity to discover the other side of the world, and does not limit the audience to a certain place or time.
