Using polugonal origami effects to assemble creatures and faces.

Method

I spend a few minutes sketched the shap of my face and features in geometry on notbook. But i didn't paying attention to their ratio. It makes me a lot of trouble in the later production.

Before i move to after effect, i draw the tangram in photoshop and save it in 7 pieces of picture and import to AE. I open the grid so i can see them clearly, but the proportion is hard to control as those pieces of shap are limited in shap and color. I made half the face first, and then copied and symmetrical it to form the other half.

I obeserver my face frequently, i think the features is triangle eyebrows and big round flat face with stiff hair...i have no idea how to express myself first. later, according to the origami effects, i decided use simple geometric to decipt my face.

The effect is weird i think, not just unlike me. Precisly, as lack of dark color, we cannot see the eyes and hair clearly. Shap and size is limited, as well as the time, i only tried this once. I think it's due to a bad draft, i cannot make sure wich is the right position of the piece when i find my draft is in wrong proportion, so i juest put them casualy. if i have time, i'd like make it again and draw an accurater draft.

The movement of those pieces is good, just change the position of each pieces.
