Animated Narratives-Week#8 - Time

In response to week 8 theme of Time, mutable and elastic. I decided to exam the idea of looping time.

I was thinking the wiki from Kate,'Time is subjective, moving fast for some and slower for others.' So, I tried to create a linear storyboard by fast-forwarding through each stage of life which is a classic way of telling whole life. I want to show that the time I understand maybe a circle for some people. In their last years, they retraced the best time of their youth.

This work is kind similar to the scene of Simba growing up from the animation of The Lion King(1994).

By examing the scene from The Lion King, I reflected the idea of time changing is mutable. No matter how long or how short the time is, it can be used to express content in the animation.
