Reflection

In week8, we explored the theme of time. This is also the theme I most want to try in the first semester, but in order to express a story that travels through, the work time has also increased.

By continuing my 2d animation design last week, I tried to incorporate the special ability of animation temporal mutability into my work.

My original setting for 2d anime was an exciting background music. The character was running desperately. As the background music was suddenly muted, the character wrestled. When he slowly stood up and ran again, the music continued to sound. In response to this week's theme, I plan to suddenly switch to the scene of the character holding a cane and continuing to walk after the character is running. The scars and crutches on the characters highlight the changes in time. Not only can the workload of painting be reduced, but also the patience of the audience can be controlled. It also metaphors the things that the characters experience in order to achieve their goals.

The same work is in the Crayon Shin-Chan theater version. Shnnosuke has been running to save the family in order to reach the top of the tower. He kept wrestling, and the scars on his face were getting more and more, but it was such a portrayal that made the audience feel very touched.

So I plan to make more changes in the details of the animation, so as to highlight the characters' efforts to achieve their goals. These are some of my current character designs. These details may seem to make the story more sad, but I prefer to make my work more interesting and cute, and make people feel happy.
