his work is also my studio one’ s work, it is some ideas of the character in my small animation. The story is based on a wiki premise “ a boy breakdown because of the pressure “I came up few weeks ago. And this work examines idea of showing the inside of the outside.

In this picture, by using quick sketch I can show the idea of my character directly. In this work I use some elements of character design, like consider the character’ s personality and movement. The personality of the character is forbearing and introverted. And the main mental activity I set with the character is sad and anger, so I put two form of the character in this picture. One is before his shape-shift, it is looks like a normal boy with big eyes. In this case, I only drew eyes on his face is because I think eyes might be the direct reflection of one’s mental activity and by this way it can highlight the movement of character’s eyes. The other from is after the shape-shift, It is a form when the character release his inside pressure. And when I drew this form, the first thing came to me is flame, like sadness and anger can be the fuel of the character and stimulate him, so I find some reference like Karna in FGO and Burnish in Promare, and add the flame element on his cloth. Also I hope it can fight with the enemy so the cloth design might be simplification to make the character easy to fight. 

By examining this idea I hope to develop more in character design area, because I think a good character can be the one of the major force to make people love an animation, so it will be helpful to exercise more in this area.
