This week for my premise wiki response, I responded to Chloe's premise:

The shell opens its mouth, a big round pearls appears and the sea becomes  shining
 

i found the process of this animation tricky because I was dealing with multiple shots in the storyboard. Also, I found that I was duplicating frames a lot, and copying and pasting sections from frames a lot. Something that I want to improve on is my storyboarding and editing. Using the same file as both storyboard and keyframing sequence makes for a complicated and confusing time. Next time, I would keep the keyframes and storyboard files separate.

when I showed this to my mum and asked for her feedback, her main concern was that the aesthetics do not communicate the idea of being underwater as well as they might have. What I could do differently is spend more time on the aesthetic details, like the seaweed, water reflections and the colours. She did find the narrative was well communicated 

I am proud of how I have used lighting in this sequence. I have been practicing using blending modes in procreate which has changed how I do my art a lot.
