Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

In the first week, I have an idea: “The stone statue at the door stares at those who try to sneak into the treasure house it guards.” I developed the concept and drew a storyboard based on this premise exercise. I want to show that when you think you are the winner, maybe you are wrong, there will be more dangerous and challenge soon.

I got inspiration from a phrase called “The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.” This phrase means “to covet gains ahead without being aware of danger behind”.

I learned from these phrase that we should always be careful and modesty, do not be arrogancy when we get honour or award. Maybe someone is staring us and judge what we present, and we do not know what dangerous or challenge behind.

Storyboard

A castle appeared in front of a greed elf and there are two stone guards beside the gate.

The elf start laugh because he knows he found the treasure.

The elf come in front of the door and ready to open it.

The elf doesn’t know these two stone guards open their stone eyes and stare at him.

There is a King chair in the castle with all treasures around.

The elf can not wait to take those treasures, but he did not mention there are lots of stone guards beside him and open eyes.

These stone guard become angry because someone want to get those treasures.

They start move and take their sword and ready to kill this elf.
