AGI workshop: Day 2

RATIONALE:

Today I compared several movies I like and finally selected Life of Pi as the movie I will do title sequence for. Because I hope to summarize the fantasy drifting journey of the protagonist in the movie with a short motion graphic animation.

METHODS:

The simple scene design is shown in the picture. And my plan for tomorrow is thinking about the detailed storyboard and finding some useful tutorial.

I need to solve those problems:

1. lighting and rendering in C4D

2. dynamics of C4D for the boat animation

3. array animation of C4D

4. Fish swimming animation in C4D

OUTCOMES:

Today’s outcomes: I find some useful context; find a film I could use for my title sequence; get the initial idea of animation; draw several key frames.
