AGI workshop: Day 10

METHOD

In order to figure out what I need to do next, I created a storyboard today. In my original plan, there were only some floating jellyfish in the picture. In the process of drawing the storyboard, I found the picture a little too plain. So, I plan to add a whale to the animation. (Whales are also elements that have appeared in Life of Pi).

In addition, I did some tests of floating jellyfish on the water. In my plan A, I plan to make the jellyfish swim past the boat and I use curves to guide their path. But the operation required for this design is too cumbersome. In plan B, I designed to let the upper jellyfish just float up and down. The result seems much better.

Finally, I added some starfish and bubbles to the bottom of the water to enrich the seabed landscape.

OUTCOM

I exported the latest test video. I think what I need to do next is change the background of the animation and add the background music. Making whales is another issue I need to consider. I will try to make the whale today. If possible, I will test the lights in the scene again.
