Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

I’ve managed to complete my first iteration of the animatic and after discussing with Pablo, we agreed upon changing a few segments to have it correlate more towards my research proposal.
For example, I felt my animatic didn’t really capture as much character study as I had hoped. By character study I am referring to animating the movements of the character to better represent the mood he is in. I’ll also be adding in more transformative elements with his body becoming visual metaphors of his tiredness.
We also agreed that to use the lamp on the desk as a focus point that will personify the scenario as well as acting as an element of driving the story near the end. One idea was having the lights flicker in the beginning to indicate the character’s drowsiness but also a driving tool to wake the character, and another to use the chord of the lamp as a tentacle to drag the character away from his bed.
