1. RATIONALE comment: Intention

Due to love the United States Disney and Pixar animation 'kung fu panda', 'Up' and' Zootopia'. especially like the atmosphere presented by the characters in the scenes. They make each scene vivid and connect the feelings of the whole script. For example the colour key. Therefore, in future projects, I would like to focus on such performance and practice my painting skills. Also because of the previous more attention to the form of a single painting so I think it is important to learn about dynamic presentation, such as After Effects, NUKE or Unity. Although there is a lot of software I do not know very well that it may need more exploration. But hopefully, I can use them well by making my work.

2. Context: Field

Because like pictures, painting, light, and shadow. Therefore, when I saw the atmosphere map works of Monsters University (2013) drawn by Daisuke Tsutsumi who is a former art director of Pixar.I really felt like discovering a new continent. This is because I have discovered a new module and representation. So I hope to develop in the field of animation and games in the future.

3. METHOD: Conceptual, Technical, Craft & Management

First I will think of a theme and set some scenes or characters according to the theme if time permits. I might tell a story in the style of an atmosphere map and try to use some other software in the process such as After Effects.

I hope to understand more about color and light and shadow through these, and understand the expression form of dynamic animation. I can prepare for future development in the animation or game field and find your own modules.

4. PRODUCTION: the Tools

First, look for inspiration and come up with some ideas. Secondly, using photoshop or draw by hand. Then I will find the effect I want to reflect again. Try to learn some new techniques and integrate them into my works. Such as After Effects or Nuke. I will work on these gradually every week (week2-week4).
