1 RATIONALE: Intention 

For this folio 2, I will keep continuing working on the liner animation experimenting and software skills developments by using theory from animated narrative and CPS courses. 

I usually like to take pictures to record some interesting objects. When I started planning this folio2, I found some interesting materials for exploring. So, I would like to use one or two of them as materials to create animation.

2CONTEXT: Field 

From week7 to week13, I tend to make a relatively complete small liner animation (about 60s-90s) to exam character animation. 

3 METHOD: Conceptual, Technical, Craft & Management

Maybe this animation will not be perfect, but I hope that through such an experiment, I can effectively sort out the complete process of how to make an animation. In the process, I hope I can improve my hand-drawing ability and become more proficient in the basic principles of animation. In folio1, I mainly focused on the experiments of characters. In folio2, I hope that I can also increase the improvement of the scene or background ability.

4 PRODUCTION: Tools

At present, I am doing the preparatory work for animation, conceiving scripts and character design. After finishing these, I set about making the storyboard.

Having experienced the production of folio1. I hope I can focus on a specific 2D animation software. So, I will use Toonboom to make the animation part of my folio2. I think this software is very powerful and is also the mainstream animation software in the industry.In addition, I am learning an online course on toonboom  skills

In addition, I will also try to make some sound effects. Let the sound effects help me enrich my animation. And, I consulted some peers, many people recommended Logic Pro to me. I will also test the application of this software.
