Reflection

In Week9 we explored the theme of MOVEMENT. Because this theme is an element that I included in both week7 and week8, I plan to expand my creativity through this week's theme.

By drawing the mind map, I discussed with the group and circled the most interesting elements. I found that adding a clockwork behind the character can make him more interesting. Adding the premise that the character movement needs to be clocked makes the story more creative.
It also metaphors that the background setting of anime is a world that needs to be wound up.

My initial work now is to draw a 2d animation to let the characters run forward through music, but they have no purpose (just to make the audience feel cute). After thinking about the theme of this week, I decided to add to the 2d animation Story. Characters who need to wind up run forward to wind up others. When they ran, they finally met the Creator, and they took down their clockwork and wanted to dedicate it to the Creator.

I remember a Japanese anime called "日常 (にちじょう)" where a character is a robot, looks exactly like a human but has a cute clockwork behind it, so I think of all people in a world All need to be wound in order to live daily.

When I found out that my 2d anime had nothing but motion and music, I was worried about whether the work would become monotonous. Because of the theme of this week, I found a simple but very suitable story for my anime. Ever since I learned about the work of responding to folio2 every week, I have found that I am more and more able to summarize the theme in the same work. Seeing that my work is getting richer and richer, I also like this course more and more! Thank you susan!
