Play And Sound

My work; https://youtu.be/tJXR847YRJI

Context:

About this week's theme-play and sound. I saw a lot of small videos of that kind of music feedback on the Internet. I feel very attractive. I just want to make a music feedback video of my own as my desktop. Because the feeling of jumping with the music is fascinating.

Method:

I used blender to make a simple water surface and a ball, and then used the frequency wavelength of the music to convert the frequency of the ball up and down.
Finally, use some rendering techniques to render it into an animation.

Response:

The first thing I do after this work is to import this video into the wallpaper engine, and then make a dynamic desktop. Then I shared the dynamic desktop with my friends. But he thought that what I did was a bit simple, and the interactivity of the work was not very high. The picture is very beautiful, but it can only be seen.
He said that if you add some mouse monitoring, it should become very interesting, for example, the mouse moves over and there is a ripple; or the mouse moves on the ball, the music stops, and so on. This can add more fun when used as a desktop and let others wait for other software to start. I think what he said is right, and I will continue to learn on this basis.

Reflection:

Through this process, I learned a very key point of knowledge, that is, the wavelength of music or other factors can be converted into another kind of data in Blender. This is very beneficial to my future project production, because I have not been exposed to this kind of attempt. This production made discover this form. More music-related works can be developed in the future.

And I really like the advice my friend gave me. He gave me a lot of reactions from the user's point of view, which made me feel the deficiencies of my own work from another angle. I think I can share my work with my friends more in the future. And I heard practical suggestions from them to improve my creative thinking.
