Considering that the whole animation is mainly in
the form of 2D animation, the most part of that is
completed in procreate or in toonboom harmony.
The biggest difficulty in this animation is how to
show the difference between humans and gods,
and also for the two different world. How do I
identify them when they appear in the same
picture. I use a totally different drawing style for the
two worlds. Therefore, in the week 6 of study, I also
tried the production of stop-motion animation.
And I also use the different drawing styles for the
walking practice as well. As there are three human
characters total in the animation, each of them are
described with different personality. I tried to put
this idea also into the walking part, some of them is
impatient and it will walks really fast and maybe
raising its hands, while someone doesn’t care about
others, then it trolls behind others. And I also test
with different style with the gods as well. I used to
pick an realistic sketch style which more focus on
light and shadow, but finally I choose the simple
lines style to make strong contrast with human
character. This idea also comes from soul(2020).
