Theme: Forces

Context: We had to pick up random three rules written in a piece of paper out of the hat. The 3 Rules I got are:

1. must be an object

2. Arcs are not allowed

3. Disrupt order

Method:  For this task, I decided to do something similar to my studio 2 project. So I decided to make a game based on colors. My project is a 3d interactive game where you have to choose the right colored gummy bears that matches the mouth color. The gummy bears then shoot inside the mouth and moves to the next level. In this case one of my rule was not to have a curved arc. I decided to use a capsule object and decided not to make any movements to the object so that I don’t have any curved arc. After all that was done I thought about how I could have the disrupting order. While I was thinking, the first thing that came into my mind was patterns. I thought about what if there are patterns of red and blue color continuously repeating and what happens when other colors come in between and disrupt the order? This task really helped me work towards Unity and explore the tools around. I also came across a really cool technique and it was very useful for my studio 2 project. I learned how to add controls so that I could move my object using the mouse or the keyboard.
