Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity
Master Of Animation, Games & Interactivity

Sadly to say that I'm over time for today's (week13) presentation. In order to express the idea of my question deeply, I had to lay it all out not to just express the idea, but I also wanted to share to everyone about the elements and the different catagories when changing the balance of the music with the animation. I hope the presentation was resourceful to everyone and come to think again when you have a music for your animation, what balance will you give to your music with it (Or perhaps you don't need one, or even you are actually look for foley instead of music.).

The animation that I did indeed there is still a lot of room for improvement. Since this semester I was focus more on the flow of the music with the animation and story telling, trying to get the animation sync to beats and lyrics etc. If I have to continue, I would like to look into more on the environment (creating assets for background), overall style (getting rid the mosaic effect), certain animations (refining some of the lesser frame animation or lazy animations like the guards).

However, during today's presentation, I had a very special feedback (to me) from Jeremy is that I can get the animation to be more punchier if I get it faster and add more cuts into the scenes (In terms of editting). Cause through out the whole semester, I always thought that my animations was too quick and I was afraid that my audiences couldn't catch a breathe. However when doing a simple test by turning off the volumn and play it in 2 times speed i've come to realize that the animation (and the story) is still presentable. So this could be something for me to explore too if I wish to contiune.

And since I was over time for my presentation, there were a lot of aspect about the concepts and approachs within the piece I wasn't able to tell so attach is the pre-production book of my project which documented most of the things throughout my project (hopefully).
