Animatic First Half:

Animation Blinking First Draft:

I decided to work on my animatic part by part so that I could at least finalise some parts of the animatic and start working on the animation itself. I've prolonged the beginning of the animatic with the blinking so that the audience could get settled into the animation world easier. I have also made changes to the narration and the visual of the first meet. Instead of having the winter and frozen element which were not used after the first meet, I used summer and thunderstorm for the narration and visuals. I could then use the effect of cloud dispersion at the end of the animation to show that the sun is slowly coming out and everything is heading towards a better direction.

I have animated the blinking at the beginning. It is the first draft. I need to collect feedback and improve the animation. I want the blinking at the beginning to show that the character is really tired and slow to any action and reaction. When the character starts remembering, it brings her back to the state of free and happy. The differences between reality and the memory will be enhanced by the colour and lighting choices too. A reference of the rendering could be seen in my previous post.

I planned to finalise the third paragraph of my animatic this week. Also, I wish to finish the animation from the first meet to the coconut skull island ending part. I want to adjust the blinking animation so that it shows the emotion better too.
