Abstract

Fishbowl is a 3D puzzle game that explores the impact of self-isolation on mental health using metaphors.  The idea is extracted from personal experiences during the pandemic, where most people were required to stay at home according to the government regulation. As time passes, the underlining problems of continuous lockdowns and restrictions slowly begin to surface. People have shifted from feeling content and happy to anxious and depressed. Therefore, by developing a game that openly showcases one’s life in such condition, and let the audience immerse themselves in an intense experience, I hope to raise public awareness of both physical and mental health, especially in difficult times.

Inquiry
